This software is being provided to the KP Astrologer community on free of charge basis for personal as well as professional use and may be distributed freely. If you are installing KP StarOne for the first time on your Computer or if you want to re-install it due to some problem, then you will need to download the Full Installer, otherwise you should download only the latest Update patch to update your existing version(applicable to version 6.7.10 onwards).

We believe that the best way to ensure excellence is to have regular feedback and communication with the you. To obtain feedback and valuable suggestion from learned users, a software registration process has been introduced. This will also enable us to intimate you about the release of Major Updates.

The program can be used for 30 days without Registration key, but the same shall be needed after 30 days. Users now have a choice of Online Express Registration provided that the email ID entered is correct.

You will need to obtain online Registration key to use the software within 30 days of installation, which is absolutely free.

The KPStarOne Version 6.7.17 has the PDF output support for most of the screens. The Module on Sub-lord changes during the day has been enhanced and improved. There is module on "Theory of Short Prediction(TSP) propounded by Dr.K.R.Kar and module designed by Prof. Andrew Dutta "  besides easier to use interface, Dasa Navigator, 4-Step Significators developed under the guidance of Sh. Sunil Gondhalekar ji, the propounder of 4-Step Theory and Automatic Update Patch Management.

Existing Users

I am pleased to announce the release of New Update Patch version 6.7.17  release for KPStarOne. It is primarily a maintenance release. I am thankful to Sh. Sant Narayan ji from Beawar(Rajasthan) for reporting the bug. It also fixes minor problem of displaying longitudes of Cusps & planets in Chart as Degree, Minute & Seconds format. We now do not round the D/M/S displayed unless it reaches the next full D/M/S e.g. 22°13’33.76” as 22°13’33” and not as 22°13’34” when choosing DMS format and as 22°13’ when choosing DM format. This is done to avoid confusion in Sub-lords.

Please do not uninstall your existing version to keep your Charts data intact.

Bug-Fixes in version 6.7.15/16

It contains bug-fix for cusps in horary charts. I am thankful to Dr Kanagasabai ji and Sh. SaiSridhar ji for reporting the bug. It also fixes minor problem of returning to Main Chart after looking at day's Ascendant/Moon.

The earlier patch had fixed all the bugs of previous versions,  (most notable- the saving bug, Transit chart bug and Day's sublords) .

Bug-Fixes in version 6.7.14

This update version was mainly a bug-fix for last used/ stored Horary Charts and  has most needed autoshow PDF output support and gives you flexibility of moving arround the page easily with varrying resolution. There are two kinds of PDF  outputs provided

1. Faster output creates larger file having image of the screen with slightly inferior quality.

2. Excellant  quality PDF output, smaller file containing text & graphics, takes a bit longer to create.

Many screens have been improved with faster processing and bug fixing.

The output is also stored in   "\kpstarone\saved charts" folder for viewing Charts later or emailing to others/magzines.

I am personally thankful to S/shri Suhas Gokhale, Dr. Kanagasabai Balasubramaniam, Kausik Roy, S S Bhatambarekar, V G Subramanian, Syam Babu S, SK Pandey - Sagar, K S Upendra  and  Abhishek Shrivastav ji, who have pointed out bugs. All the bugs reported have been fixed.

Bug-Fixes in version 6.7.11

I am personally thankful to S/shri V. G. Subramanian, Vinod K. Sharma, Syam Babu, Shri Krishna Pandey, Sagar, Navneeth Achar and Ms. Sujata Dash who have pointed out bugs pertaining to:

- Run-time error after using VarshPhal
